Agents MCP
Point your own AI assistant — Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any other MCP-compatible app — at your troop's data.
Read-Only by Design
Your assistant can look things up, but it can never change, delete, or create anything in your troop's data. It's safe to connect.
Overview
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard that lets AI assistants connect directly to your troop's data. Once connected, you can ask your assistant things like "what are my service hours this month?" or "when is the next campout?" without opening the app yourself.
What Your Assistant Can See
- Troop info, leaders, events, announcements, ranks, and merit badges
- Your own rank and merit badge progress
- Your own logged service hours
It never sees other members' personal progress, service hours, or contact details — only your own, plus the troop-wide information every member can already see in the app.
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini
- In your AI app, find where it lets you add a custom connector or remote MCP server (in Claude, this is under Settings → Connectors).
- Paste in your troop's connection URL (below).
- You'll be sent to a login and consent screen. Sign in with your regular troop account and approve access.
- That's it — your assistant can now answer questions using your troop's data.

Other MCP-Compatible Apps
Developer tools that speak MCP — Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf — can connect the same way using the connection URL above. They'll walk you through the same sign-in and consent step.
Disconnecting
Remove the connector from within your AI app's settings at any time. Access also expires automatically and has to be reconnected periodically, even if you don't disconnect it yourself.
