Photo Galleries
Share photos from troop events and activities.
Navigate to Admin Dashboard → Galleries.
Creating Galleries
- Click Create
- Enter gallery title (e.g., "Summer Camp 2024")
- Add description
- Upload photos (multiple selection supported)
- Save
Tip: You can drag and drop multiple photos at once for faster uploads.
Managing Photos
After creating a gallery, you can:
- Add more photos
- Delete individual photos
- Rearrange photo order
- Set a cover photo for the gallery
- Edit titles and descriptions
Storage Limits
Your subscription includes storage space for photos and files. Monitor usage:
- View total storage used in Galleries admin
- See available space remaining
- Upgrade plan if approaching limit
- Delete old galleries to free space
Photo Guidelines: Obtain permission before posting photos of youth. Follow BSA social media guidelines.
File Management
Store and share documents with your troop.
Navigate to Admin Dashboard → Files.
Uploading Files
- Click Create
- Enter file name/title
- Choose file from your computer
- Add optional description
- Save
Supported File Types
- Documents - PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Images - JPG, PNG, GIF
- Text - TXT, CSV
- Other - ZIP archives

- Parent permission forms

Member Access
Members access files from Files in the user menu. They can:
- Browse all available files
- Search by file name
- Download files
- View file details
Custom Landing Page
Create a public-facing page for your troop.
Navigate to Admin Dashboard → Tenant Landing Page.
Landing Page Content
Customize what visitors see before logging in:
- Hero Section - Main title and welcome message
- About - Troop history and information
- Meeting Information - When and where you meet
- Contact - How to join or get more info
- Photos - Gallery showcase
- Recent Announcements - Public announcements display automatically
Editing the Landing Page
- Open the landing page editor
- Update content sections
- Upload troop logo and photos
- Preview changes
- Publish when ready

Note: Only information marked as "public" appears on your landing page. Keep sensitive information private.
Content Best Practices
Photos
- Create galleries shortly after events while fresh
- Use descriptive gallery titles with dates
- Compress large images before uploading
- Caption photos with activity details
- Remove blurry or low-quality images
- Follow BSA photography guidelines
- Never post photos that embarrass scouts
Files
- Use clear, consistent naming conventions
- Include dates in file names (e.g., "Permission-Form-2024.pdf")
- Keep files organized and current
- Delete outdated versions
- Compress PDFs to save space
- Test downloads to ensure files open correctly
Landing Page
- Keep information current and accurate
- Update meeting times if they change
- Refresh photos seasonally
- Respond to contact inquiries promptly
- Proofread all content
- Mobile-friendly formatting
Privacy & Safety
- Never post youth full names with photos
- Obtain parent permission before posting youth photos
- Don't share personal information (addresses, phone numbers)
- Mark sensitive documents as private
- Follow BSA social media guidelines
- Report inappropriate content immediately
- Review public landing page content regularly
Storage Management
Monitor storage to avoid hitting limits:
- Check storage usage monthly
- Delete old galleries after 2 years
- Remove duplicate files
- Compress images before uploading
- Archive important files externally
- Consider upgrading if consistently near limit
